If you live in Toronto right now, the sound of thousands of hipsters and indie-rockers unironically pouring out cans of Pabst for The Constantines is drowning out all other noise.
First up, Canadian indie rock heroes Constantines may be packing it in, or at least for the time being. In an interview with Exclaim!, the band’s Bry Webb revealed that the Cons may be taking an indefinite hiatus, saying, “We’re in our early 30s and we have some different priorities than we did ten years ago, personally any way. It’s time to focus on other things.” However, he also added that the future is “wide open; the future is half-full.”
Fortunately we still have the Birthday Boys.
